Opening Night Monday June 22nd

Falmouth Adult Hockey League (F.A.H.L)
Established in 2003, this non-checking summer hockey league focuses on fun and competitive hockey for adults ages 18 and up. Play runs from mid-June through mid-August. The talent ranges from former high school to former and current college level players with most being in the A/B range.  Players sign up individually and are entered into a draft.  The first 13 skaters and 1 goaltender picked for each team are entered into the league.  Currently, the league has six teams (78 skaters and 6 goaltenders).  Any remaining skaters not drafted receive their full deposit back and are placed on the reserve or back up roster.  All games are played at the Falmouth Ice Arena on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7:10 pm, 8:20 pm and 9:30 pm but please check the official schedule when posted to make sure you can make it to as many games as possible before signing up.  The regular season consists of 10 games and all teams make it to the post-season playoffs.  The winners from the Semi's face off in a Championship game where the winners take home the cup (and a pretty cool t-shirt).  Games are 60 minutes in length with three 18 minute periods, a pre-game warm-up and short break between periods.  If the game is within two goals, the last 2 minutes will be "stop time,"  otherwise the clock will run.  Brian Guest is the Commissioner and Director of the league and can be contacted at BGuest@whoi.edu for more information.
